Our Spring festival is set up for school groups of 10 or more. It is designed to teach children about how plants are started at our farm. We take a short tour through our greenhouses, and we also let each child plant a seed and transplant a flower to take home or back to school and watch them in their various stages of growth. Depending on the weather and the time of your visit, we may also take you out to our fields and show the students how we plant here at the farm. If there is early produce growing, we may also allow each child to harvest a small amount of vegetables to take home. PLEASE keep in mind that the weather plays a big part in what is ready and when!The cost is $5.00 per student and chaperone, and teachers and bus drivers are free. Click here for reservations.
