Lettuce with Japanese Peanut Salad Dressing

Description
If you have too much dressing for the amount of lettuce, the dressing can be kept for several days in the refrigerator.
Ingredients
| 1 | head of lettuce (or leaf lettuce ) | |
| 1⁄4 | c | salad oil |
| 2 | T | dry roasted peanuts (chopped) |
| 2 | T | sugar |
| 2 | T | Sesame Seeds (toasted) |
| 3 | scallions (thinly sliced) | |
| 1⁄2 | t | black pepper |
| 1⁄2 | t | monosodium glutamate (optional) |
| 3 | T | Rice Vinegar |
Notes
Vinegar comes from the oxidation of wine, via the grape. It is native to China.
Instructions
Combine all of the ingredients, mixing until they are well blended. Then toss with lettuce.
