Agriculture is very important to all of us. Our goal at Miller Farms is to educate children and adults while giving them a fun and memorable experience. Our farm tours are designed to help students of all ages discover how a family farm runs on a daily basis.
Our spring tours begin April 1st and run through June. Our fall tours begin Labor Day and run until the end of November*. These tours consists of a hay ride touring crops that are currently growing and an opportunity to harvest vegetables. Students will also visit our greenhouses where they can transplant a vegetable bedding plant and plant a seed which they can take home as part of their experience on the farm. We recommend allowing your group at least 3 hours on our farm because there is much to see and do.
At our petting zoo, students can meet the all of our farm animals and learn how these animals fill a vital role in our agricultural community. And, of course, students must pet them all because they are so cute!
Along with our petting zoo, we also have a hay maze and pyramid, an Indian village, an old western town, a giant slide, pedal cars, and plenty of picnic tables. If you are not sure what to do first, bring our Things To Do at Miller Farms list with you!
